One of the Great Piano Trio LP's with Vocals

Posted Friday, March 28, 2008 by Rick If you have never heard Shirley Horn this is the place to start. She has an incredible voice and all of the material on this LP fits it. Once you hear her you will be hooked.

Her piano playing is also superb and recorded with a huge sound. The sound on this LP is some of the best you will ever hear. It is so good it might make you re-evaluate your listening biases. You won't be let down from this LP it is one of the very best.

The sound is very warm with lots of detail. I like this LP so much I bought two copies. You just might also.

Not to be missed and the German 180 gram pressings are excellent.
