AcousTech - AcousTech Electronics Stylus Brush (bristle) Product No: S ATE SB

Category: Stylus Cleaner
Label: Equipment

disappointing

Posted Saturday, September 6, 2008 by Anonymous I wish I had bought an old Discwasher SC-1 on Ebay. This thing is too small, and too thick. The bristles do not give -AT ALL when cleaning the sylus. Overpriced.

Simple

4 Stars
Posted Sunday, July 6, 2008 by Anonymous It's really simple, just follow the directions. I'm absolutely positive that it works, but my stylus is so new I wouldn't be able to hear the difference no matter what.

Lyra Stylus Treatment

Posted Tuesday, October 16, 2007 by Jonathan Frey I have used this stylus cleaner system (fluid and brush) since I first ordered one from you six years ago. I would use no other. I am currently playing LP's with a Transfiguration Temper W cartridge which is three years in service and showing no signs of either stylus wear or suspension weakening. Tonearm and turntable are Clearaudio Master Reference from early 2002, purchased second-hand from Frank Betz at Soundex Audio. This spring I sent the TQI arm to Germany for a new tonearm wand carriage mechanism, total cost a little less than $400.00. I am listening to a second-hand Capitol of Nat King Cole's "Just One of Those Things", scrubbed with The Disc Doctor's Miracle Record Cleaner on their 12" brush, and washed and vacuumed with Arrowhead distilled water in the fluid well of a VPI HW17. I feel that this is the way to go in the record and stylus cleaning department of our hobby.

Clearaudio - Elixir of Sound Diamond Cleaner Product No: C ELIX

THE BEST LIQUID STYLUS CLEANER EVER!

5 Stars
Posted Saturday, July 7, 2007 by Tyrone Brown This is something that I use with "ONZOW'S ZERO DUST". The Diamond Cleaner not only keeps your stylus dust and dirt free. It also removes deposits left behind from various hours of play. It contains no alcohol and is quick and easy to use. I couldn't believe how much dust and dirt deposits that the "ZERO DUST" cleaner had accumulated after using this brilliant product. Trust and believe....you won't be sorry.

Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs - Lab LP No. 9 Stylus Cleaner Product No: C LP9
Available: InStock
Category: Stylus Cleaner
Label: Equipment

Appears to clean well

3 Stars
Posted Monday, March 19, 2007 by josh I have used other stylus cleaners but tried this one because it was a little less expensive and is from a trusted audiophile brand. It works very well. I use a separate brush as to not contaminate the bottle with the brush that is attached to the cap. A poor design IMHO. Other than that I would recommend.

Last Factory - Stylast Stylus Treatment Product No: C SF 500

Wouldn't play without it

Posted Saturday, December 17, 2005 by Charles Peterson Not only does this make stylus last just about forever, as far as I can tell, it always seems to make records sound better. In a word, more liquid. Less dry and crackly. I've never noticed any of the alleged problems. Though the Stylast applicator doubles as a stylus cleaner, it's best if you clean stylus beforehand, otherwise fluid in bottle fills up with accumulated dust. I use Onzow Zero Dust for cleaning, then Stylast for "treatment." Very easy.

Onzow - Zerodust Product No: C ZERODUST
Available: InStock
Category: Stylus Cleaner
Label: Equipment

It Works as Advertised

5 Stars
Posted Wednesday, October 12, 2005 by Anonymous I first learned about Onzow Zerodust while reading "The Analog Corner" by Michael Fremer in Stereophile Magazine. His description matches what I've seen.....and what you can't quite see....if the stylus really is spotless clean. By the sound of things it must be.

No clingy goo that sticks to the cantilever. No more hazardous brush strokes controlled by a shaky hand. This is a good product.

I like it.
