Posted Saturday, May 8, 2021 by Islay Malt Wow, talk about surface noise, this is the only record of the 40 or so I have ordered from Acoustic Sounds that is anything but fantastic. It sounds like I rescued it from Good Will Industries. Not remotely an Audiophile Pressing: it sounds awful. Full of ticks, pops, and static in spots. I'm a Fred Hersch fan so if you are as well, buy the CD and skip this mess.

Quality lacks in how the double album is packed into a single pocket. Both records are distorted. It was not a listening pleasure

Posted Friday, June 24, 2016 by Anonymous Wanted to add something to my order for "Music for Lighthousekeeping" so I picked this. This is every bit as good as that album, if not better. Energetic west coast bop, very melodic.

The copy I received from AS had the yellow sticker and was a Fantasy-era OJC pressing. Deadwax markings confirmed it as well. Just thought I would mention this for people that are picky about what type of OJC pressing they buy.
