Simply Awful!! posted on 02/28/2011 2 Stars Reviewer: Brian R. This reissue has terribly compressed brittle sound. It's very disappointing. My advice is to save your money and buy the CD -- really. Note, however, that the vinyl reissue of Crime of the Century is outstanding -- which makes this reissue of Breakfast in America all the more perplexing. Absolute garbage.

Absolutely horrible posted on 11/02/2008 1 Stars Reviewer: madfloyd I've heard the Back to Black releases from Universal were crappy, but I've bought a few. Listened to this one today and took it off halfway during the first song. What a shame. The packaging is stellar but it sounds ultra compressed, like they mastered it from a casette tape.
