Optrix - Optrix CD Spray

Product No.:

CD Care

Sorry, this Product is no longer available.

Optrix is a cleanser/clarifier for use on CDs, DVDs and laser discs. It gives you incredible sound and picture improvement on all systems. Optrix removes surface contaminants (including those on new CDs) and applies an invisible surface interface that increases optical clarity for an astonishing increase in playback quality. Best of all, Optrix is easy to use and does not require polishing or special attention.

“Optrix made the same improvements on all the discs we sprayed it on…[it] cleaned up, and to a startling degree, muddy bottom-ends…you’ll get better defined bass, particularly in the bottom two octaves. You may not have noticed the mirage-like blurring endemic to CD’s before, but you will soon after, which is why these fluids are so sonically addictive. One thing I can tell you for certain: there’s no going back to an untreated disc once you hear what [Optrix] can do!”

Optrix is an easy way to clean and polish your CDs. If the disk skips because it's dirty or smudged then Optrix will take care of that. Better yet, disks treated with Optrix just sound better, smoother. For an even bigger improvement, first use Optrix to clean your disks and then Mapleshade's "mikro-smooth" CD treatment. You will definitely notice a big improvement in how your disks sound.

This stuff really does work!

I am the ultimate skeptic concerning all those so-called can't-live-without-tweeks, but I thought I'd give this a try a little over a year ago.

I'm hooked and still using. This is one of those tweeks that you can really hear. I am especially impressed with the improvements I get with CDs dubbed from LPs when I treat the dubbed CD BEFORE recording.

Try it. You'll like it.

Not a miracle, but a helpful tweak

I founf it to work pretty much as advertised. Helped smooth out a few rough edges, and in some cases made skipping CDs (from scratches) more playable. Worth the money.
