The 40th Anniversary reissue of Quincy Jones' The Dude, will be available in a gatefold jacket for the first time, from remastered audio. The 1LP set features a foil finish; the vinyl disc is standard black.
The Dude includes the LP debut of singer James Ingram on the hit "One Hundred Ways." The track earned Ingram a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. It reached No. 14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1982. It was a bigger Adult Contemporary hit, reaching No. 5 in the U.S. and No. 6 in Canada.
