I see now why Tchaikovsky thought this one of his greatest works, absolutely amazing.

Although I normally prefer my music on good old fashioned vinyl, the Classical genre is an exception. Having listened to both the CD layer as well as the stereo SA-CD layer several times, the quality of performance, recording and mastering that come together here are worth the price regardless of your preference of format. As a collector of multiple genres, I've only recently focused on classical recordings. I recommend this disc to anyone with ears. I just purchased my fourth Living Stereo SA-CD Hybrid and with each one I become more excited about collecting these fine recordings.
