Celebrating 35 years since its original release!

Includes limited time album download plus 29 rare and unreleased tracks!

Fine Young Cannibals' self-titled album is celebrating 35 years since its original release. To mark the occasion the iconic debut has received special treatment which sees the album newly remastered from analog tapes and expanded across a limited repress onto red vinyl. Remastered for the first time with Roland Gift's involvement.

Originally released in 1985 the album that spawned the hits "Johnny Come Home" and "Suspicious Minds" launched the band high into the charts the world over and lay foundations for an impressive career that was still to follow.

The new expanded edition features an album download that includes the original album remastered from analog tapes, plus a wealth of bonus material including B-sides, previously unreleased rarities, unheard demos, BBC sessions, live performances, as well as a newly commissioned 2020 remix by Derrick Carter, as well as remix versions by Mousse T Cocktail, and Mark Moore.

"Though the trio first hit the mass U.S. consciousness with 1989's electronic dance-pop The Raw and The Cooked, their 1985 debut was a soul-jazz pop charmer that's more low-key but every bit as entertaining. Along the lines of early Everything But the Girl (the two groups share a producer, Robin Millar) with a heavier Motown influence, the songs on Fine Young Cannibals are uniformly strong...Although often overlooked, especially in the U.S., in the wake of their massively successful follow-up, Fine Young Cannibals is a powerful and satisfying debut." — AllMusic.com, 4/5 stars
