New age album from renowned Nashville pedal steel player
"This is an abstract sonic spectacular that will wake up the ghosts lurking within your stereo system and send them (and you) floating across an enormous, harmonically enriched cinematic soundstage populated by layers of swirls, zooms, shooting stars and a comet or two. Nicely pressed at Third Man Pressing so the music 'pops' flourescent paint on a black velvet canvas." — Music = 9/11; Sound = 9/11 — Michael Fremer, AnalogPlanet.com. Read the entire review here.
Renowned Nashville pedal steel player Luke Schneider presents his new album Altar Of Harmony, out May 15 on Third Man Records. The music is situated firmly in the ambient new age realm, yet all of the sounds on Altar Of Harmony were created with a 1967 Emmons Push/Pull pedal steel guitar. The announcement comes with the album's first track "Anteludium" and its accompanying video.
Schneider is a popular Nashville session musician, having performed and recorded with Margo Price, Caitlin Rose, William Tyler and many more. He is currently on tour performing in Orville Peck's band.
