2020 marks the 25th anniversary of Alanis Morissette's seminal album Jagged Little Pill, and the Canadian artist is celebrating it in many ways, chief among them her new upcoming album, Such Pretty Forks In The Road.

It's the first new album in eight years for the seven-time Grammy Award winner, the follow-up to 2012's Havoc and Bright Lights, and is due out May 1, 2020. Two tracks have already debuted from the album, "Smiling," and "Reasons I Drink." Morissette is heading out on tour with Garbage, and Liz Phair in support.

Morissette's 1995 breakthrough album Jagged Little Pill produced a slew of ubiquitous rock-radio staples, with the fiery "You Oughta Know" leading a hit parade that included "Hand In My Pocket," "Ironic," "You Learn" and "Head Over Feet." The album has sold more than 15 million U.S. copies.

Jagged Little Pill nostalgia is in full swing, with the album also receiving a Broadway adaptation. The musical, written by Diablo Cody and in the works since 2013, debuted at New York’s Broadhurst Theatre on December 5, 2019.
