Grajales For the record I own a late 1960's lp pressing and also a cd version made in the 1990's and 2000 version made in Japan [one the best cd's pressing I ever heard], but this version is amazing; clear and cristal sound. This an amazing historic recording made 55 year ago! Truely and excelent mono sound; Callas and Di Stefano are in top form. If you are an opera fan, you must have this recording in lp. I hope in the future some of the great opera recordings made by Lewis Layton for RCA will be available; in the meantime I will enjoy, indeed, this lp.
