Was brought Joe Harley (from Music Matters), a.k.a. the "Tone Poet," on board to curate and supervise a series of reissues from the Blue Note family of labels.

Scofield & Metheny. A meeting of musical minds, the guitar virtuosos created one of the greatest jazz guitar albums of all time with Steve Swallow (bass guitar) & Bill Stewart (drums). Produced by Lee Townsend, I Can See Your House From Here is a set of Scofield & Metheny originals, like Sco's expansive title track, Pat's rocking "The Red One" and stunning ballad "Message To My Friend." Blue Note Tone Poet Series features all-analog, remastered 180-gram vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging.

Great sound, hit or miss pressing posted on 07/17/2026 4 Stars Reviewer: Scott N. Sound-wise, absolutely amazing and the best I've heard of this recording since it came out in 1994. BUT, even though it was pressed at RTI, sides 3 and 4 contain lots of distracting clicks that really distract from listening pleasure in the quiet passages especially. Shame.
