Limited edition, individually numbered boxed set packaged in a unique 12-inch square metal-hinged case shaped and decorated like a school desk.
The original Alice Cooper Group box set includes a four-CD/one-DVD/double-vinyl box set capturing the band's ealry shock rock years.
Originally, there was a band called Alice Cooper led by a singer named Vincent Damon Furnier. Under his direction, Alice Cooper pioneered a grandly theatrical and violent brand of heavy metal that was designed to shock. The group created a stage show that featured electric guitars, guillotines, fake blood and huge boa constrictors. Furnier ultimately adopted the band's name for his own androgynous on-stage personality. After the original group broke up, Furnier began a solo career as Alice Cooper, and his music became straightforward heavy metal. Yet his stage show retained all of the trademark props that made him the king of shock rock. The Nazz (not to be confused with Todd Rundgren's band of the same name) was a group that Furnier formed as a teenager that would go on to change its name to none other than Alice Cooper.
