R.E.M's releases a new vinyl box set gathering the Athens, Georgia band's singles released between 1983 and 1988 when they were signed to their first record label, I.R.S. Records.

7IN — 83-88 contains 11 seven-inch singles with two 45s making their U.S. vinyl 7-inch debuts: Finest Worksong (b/w Time After Time (live)) and the double-pack single for Wendell Gee (which includes Crazy, Ages of You and Burning Down).

All the singles will feature sleeve art that replicates the originals.
