This is by far the best I have ever heard Patsy Cline sound! Dead quiet pressing, superb sound. The stereo separation/soundstage and space around everything (vocals, instruments) is incredible. Please reissue more Patsy Cline, and at 45 rpm!

The other reviewers have done a great job describing the material which is fabulous. Like the other QRP efforts, this pressing is dead quiet, no surface noise and black backgrounds. The vinyl allows you to appreciate the incredible range Patsy had, and was such a bonus compared to CD or original pressings. The best part was hearing my partner sing along to every word ;). You can't go wrong with this!

This is by far the best sounding pressing of this album I have ever heard. If you need "at folsom prison" for your collection, this is the one to get. Sounds great. Hopefully we can expect more cash from QRP.

I have always thought that alison has a beautiful voice. It is really brought to life on this pressing with spaciousness and air. The instrumentals are strikingly real. Soundstage is clearly defined and has great depth. You can hear every pluck and decay of the strings. A very pleasant sounding pressing with the MOFI quality you expect.

I'm not a big country fan, but this album is as raw as it gets and if you love beautiful heartfelt songs you can't pass on this one. Glen sounds great at 75 and his emotions reflecting on his life are all over this album. This is just plain great music coming from one of America's nation treasures... he won't be making any more albums or touring due to his Alzheimer's disease, but trust me none of it shows on this album.... not many albums can touch you as deeply as this one.

This one was a double-whammy for me. First Johnny Cash LP, first Speakers Corner pressing. Read great things about SC over the years, and was NOT disappointed. Clean and flat vinyl (no annoying warpage), nicely packaged in anti-stat sleeve. Dropping my Grado Statement stylus onto the leadin groove, WOW! HUGE, spacious, open sound. Voice clear, clean, and rich (and WHAT a voice....). Not my fave genre of music (bought it on a lark), but GREAT songs. So immediate and gripping, you feel like you are right there. I originally was going to just listen to a couple of tracks, but ended up spinning both sides without interruption. Just couldn't stop! Speakers Corner really hit it out of the park with this pressing - quiet, rich, warm, natural tone - all of the elements that we vinyl fanatics love. And the guitars - Yeah!!! Worth every penny. Equipment: Well-Tempered Amadeus GT, Grado Statement, GNSC-modded ARC SP-14, VAC PHI200, Aerial 7bs, Silversmith cabling.

Superb second effort here by Gretchen Wilson. Songs are gutsy and on the verge of going Rock & Roll but it all works so well why should she change a thing!!! I was surprised by Ms. Wilson's ability to pen tunes that appeal to men as well as other politically incorrect misfits malcontents and fringe types that seem to be drawn in by her music. BTW did I mention I'm not a Country music fan really. But I took a chance on Ms. Wilson and was quite impressed by her no nonsense approach song writing style in a bad country girl package that makes her so compelling, and completely original music artist willing to take chances. A great follow up to her debut CD and in some ways better. The 5.1 Mix on the DVD side is really good and so is the regular two channel version.
