PentaTone presents the last recordings made by renowned Dutch conductor Hans Vonk, who died at the age of 59 on August 29, 2004. His last post was as Music Director of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Before joining the SLSO he had been chief conductor of a great number of world class orchestras and had performed with most of the top American orchestras. These final recordings feature several popular works by Brahms.
