Joe Perry is obviously best known as the driving guitar force behind Aerosmith. For most of the last year, he was on the road with the band in support of their critically acclaimed album, Honkin' On Bobo. So what does a great guitar player do when he comes off the road and his band goes on a break? If you're Joe Perry, you get out your stash of songs and go right back into the studio, hit the record button, and play almost all of the instruments. The result is Joe's first solo album in over 20 years, and fans of both Aerosmith and Joe's solo work will be pleasantly surprised. On tracks like "Shakin' My Cage" and "Lonely," Joe displays his signature rockin' guitar style, while other songs like "Pray For Me" show a more mellow side.
