I'm not a huge Harry Belafonte fan, but this is a great album for anyone who enjoys some diverting, well-arranged and performed music. Belafonte has a wonderful voice, and his backing musicians are top-rate. The recording and mastering of this album, as well as the quality of the pressing itself, are just superb. The album art is first rate, as is typcial with Classic Records.

I am a Belafonte fan, but even if you weren't, it would be hard not to like this album. It sounds superb, has a deep sound stage and clarity of instruments and voice beyond anything else I have listened to on vinyl. To boot, Harry Belafonte has one of the most musical voices ever! It is truly a musical instrument and unbelievably accurate even when pushed. This album crosses a few different genres but for those who love good acoustic music and appreciate superb sound and clarity, this would be a difficult album to go past.
