Produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, Wasting Light was recorded entirely on analog tape in the garage of Grohl's home in California's San Fernando Valley. dang this records rocks!! Crank it waaaay up! posted on 08/30/2022 5 Stars Reviewer: Brent Wow! Way to go Foo Fighters! Album was done all analog. This 45RPM pressing is dead flat and silent. “Walk” is the best track in my opinion. I agree with Dave Grohl……crank it up! This thing will rock your system. I was rather surprised that this album sounds so darn good. Highly recommend if you can still find one of these original pressings.

Sounds Killer!!! posted on 06/01/2012 5 Stars This is could be the best sounding vinyl record in my collection of about 300. If you like this band and have a HI-FI table get it! The songs are well written, recorded, mixed, mastered and pressed by some of the best people in the music.

Can't belive new vinyl can sound so good!!! posted on 10/13/2011 5 Stars Reviewer: Mark I purchased this and the Foo's greatest hits on vinyl. This record sounds absolutely fantastic. There is no surface noise anywhere. You can feel the organic nature of the vinyl really pouring out of your system. I am looking forward to some of the other releases that are coming out in November 2011 for older Foo records on vinyl. If they can keep the production value the same it'll be awesome. I just wonder why Metallica on vinyl couldn't sound this good?

Greatest Rock album over the past 20 years maybe more posted on 10/06/2011 5 Stars Reviewer: Bill I haven't heard an rock album like this in many years. It is near perfect and sounds wonderful. Not an once of compression to be found.
