Just like the 2.5 model, this 5.0 model is very simply the best outer record sleeve we've ever come across. The only difference is this 5.0 version is even more rigid and heavy-duty. Manufactured from crystal 250 micron clear polypropylene, with these sleeves you'll see your records perfectly crystal clear, rather than through a cloudy sleeve. And each sleeve is die-cut to exactly 12.75 x 12.75 inches. These sleeves are much more rigid and tight-fitting than standard outer sleeves. Again, if you want the absolute best and best-looking outer sleeve, look no further.

Larger Size Is Better posted on 04/18/2022 4 Stars Reviewer: David These are probably made by Sleeve City and are “almost” the best I have found. Even better are the oversized 13”x13” version that accommodates double albums and modern reissues. Acoustic Sounds is better value for me in Canada considering their postage costs. Please offer up the oversized version and I will buy lots with my record orders.

Pretty darn good posted on 03/14/2013 5 Stars Reviewer: Nate P These are some of the better outer sleeves around. They are crystal clear and not cloudy like some of the other company's products. The only minor downfall is that the sleeve is pretty stiff and does not have a lot of stretch to it, so if you are trying to squeeze double LP's or larger records in they don't give much and the seams can rip. All in all, this is a very good sleeve at a fair price.

Very heavy and plenty of room for even most double LP sets. My grandkids will be amazed at the preserved quality of my collection. I am nearly done retrofitting my admittedly small collection of a couple hundred LPs and all new records get one immediately.

Good but not great posted on 08/18/2012 3 Stars Reviewer: Marcus I have more than 1500 LP and all of them are in various PVC outer sleeves. Yes, these sleeves are very "clean" and transparent but they also have one very annoying downside: LP's slide out from them!

When this sleeve came to my attention a couple of years ago, I bought a pack of 50 to try. What a pleasure removing the art-obscuring cloudiness of the polysleeves, and annoying noisy chatter of the Japanese type to reveal the beautiful cover art in a rugged yet crystal clear sleeve. Once you see your treasures like this, you'll be adding a batch to each order to protect your entire collection in style. Very highly recommended.
