Engineered by Ken Cross, this recording captures a vibrant performance by Martinon and the PCO of Prokofieff's last symphony paying homage to the late romantic school from where it began. One of the best readings of this great symphony and a great introduction to this composer's work. It is also an unbelievable recording!
