Never before on vinyl! 12-page booklet included Gatefold Jacket with original artwork Lacquer cut at SST (Schallplatten Schneid Technik) in Germany and pressed by Pallas A coloratura soprano who in the late 1990s became one of the most noticed new names on the international operatic circuit, Sumi Jo was a discovery of the flamboyant German conductor Herbert von Karajan. A striking beauty, she owed her initial celebrity in part to video: the conductor arranged for her a prominent role in his "Karajan in Salzburg" video production. Here, Sumi Jo is joined by tenor Alesandro Safina and Neues Rheinisches Kammerorchester Koln led by David Firman.
The Play 33 1/3 LP Series is a 1st LP issue project of masterpiece albums which have never been released on LP. The albums are released by Universal Music Korea and the heavyweight LP vinyl is pressed by Pallas in Germany. Khiov designs the project, reforms the original artworks for LP size and produces the gatefold jackets.
