Various Artists - The Village

A collection of songs that celebrates the music of the time and the people that forever changed the world that we live in. The scene is Greenwich Village - 1963 - up-and-coming folk singer such as Bob Dylan played the clubs on Bleecker Street, while Seeger, Havens and Odetta performed in gatherings to propel the civil rights movement. The Vietnam War was escalating and the music of Greenwich Village became the social movement that would inspire a generation.
