Lal Waterson died in September 1998 at the age of 55, midway through recording a follow-up to the album. Once In A Blue Moon has been remastered by Steve Rooke at Abbey Road and pressed on 180-gram vinyl for the ultimate in audiophile quality. It contains a new interview with Oliver Knight about his memories of working with his mother on the record, as well as a rare photo archive of Waterson, both with the Watersons and in later recording/domestic settings.
