Poor pressing for a supposedly premium title

"200 GRAM classic Records Clarity SV-PII Hand Made Super Vinyl Profile II" Wow... that certainly sounds impressive from a marketing perspective. The reality: unacceptible surface noise. I tend to have bad luck with LPs pressed on coloured vinyl. (Where is the grey-blue vinyl mentioned in the product description, anyway?) I would also challenge that this is not a 200G pressing. Seems light weight, to me. 160G, maybe. Music notwithstanding, I'm not particularly pleased, considering what I spent for this title.

On my copy side A is off center! Any others with the same problem? That first version of this album was a bummer, so I was expecting more of the clarity version.

Past 'moments' are better

Not really worth the wait for this LP release. I think some of Diana's other work has been much better, more soulful. Her vocals seem pretty relaxed and unengaged with the music. The first few tracks are quite lively but the rest is pretty mellow. Couple that with the relaxed vocal and it's a snoozer. The recording quality is quite good. The mastering for the LP is BRIGHT...those cymbals sizzle. But nice soundstage. My LP has loud pops...not impressed with pressing quality. And at these prices, that's a huge disappointment.
