In 1947, Sir Eugene Goosens gave the first performance of this composition that documents the Australian Aboriginal dance known as a Corroboree. In 1960, Goosens and the London Symphony Orchestra recorded for Everest this magnificent - possibly the best ever - performance of Corroboree, even better than the famous EMI recording of the same piece from 1977. This transfer coupled with a Clarity Vinyl pressing gives the listener a sense of being there that is unparalleled.

Classic can't make a hole in one

Claria proves to be a winner, Corroboree certainly sounds wonderful in this format. However, the spindle hole is way out of center on all discs. One has to wonder where quality control is when all three disc are affected. Waiting for a second copy. Let's see how far this problem goes. Shame on Classic Records for letting this problem reach the customer. A premium price deserves a premium product.

Second copy arrived. Sending this one back too. Same exact problem. Must be the entire run.
