Remastered in 2009 by Steve Albini and Bob Weston. Vinyl packaged in album jacket sporting 12" x 24" double-sided color insert including never-before-seen photos and extensive liner notes by the band and by journalists who were there. Pure was the first EP ever recorded by the Jesus Lizard. It reveals an opening bone-crushing trifecta - "Blockbuster," "Bloody Mary" and "Rabid Pigs" - which became classics in the Jesus Lizard's canon, and features some of the band's most endearing characteristics: Denison's guitar frenzy, Yow's garbled vocal hysterics and Sims' uncanny precision on bass.

Like the new in school introducing himself by punching the principle in the face.

The sound is great. By the way - this is a 45 rpm 12" for those interested in such things. Total runtime: < 15 minutes.

I doubt the other LP are 45 rpm or they would be doubles.
