Each copy of this record has a bent corner. This is how they arrived in our warehouse, and we are selling them as is. Unfortunately, the major record companies do not seem to know how to properly package vinyl. We apologize for these imperfections.

One Step Closer is The String Cheese Incident's fifth studio release and is produced by Malcolm Burn (Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Neville Brothers, Daniel Lanois). It was recorded at a friend's home in the hills of Colorado's front range and includes several brand new songs along with retooled versions of older tunes like "45th of November," "One Step Closer" and "Swampy Waters." The music is an interesting blend of blue grass, jazz and rock.
