Mastered at Capitol Mastering by Ron McMaster from the original mono master and approved by artist representatives.

"It was Pet Sounds that blew me out of the water…I love the album so much. I've just bought my kids each a copy of it for their education in life. I figure no one is educated musically 'til they've heard that album." – Paul McCartney

"All of us, Ginger (Baker), Jack (Bruce), and I consider Pet Sounds to be one of the greatest pop LPs to ever be released. It encompasses everything that's ever knocked me out and rolled it all into one." – Eric Clapton

"Pet Sounds is a landmark album. For me to say that I was enthralled would be an understatement. I had never heard such magical sounds, so amazingly recorded. It is a timeless and amazing recording of incredible genius and beauty." – Elton John

One of the worst pressings of this great album.

After getting this LP I just couldn't believe the poor quality of the record so I actually exchanged it for a second copy - no difference. Like one of the earlier reviewers stated, “muddled, dull, and compressed”. Well said. On a positive note; this record brought some nostalgia, reminding me my high school years with the sound quality bringing memory of cheap tapes we were listening to:)

A religious experience.

The ultimate edition of Pet Sounds. I know the album very well but have never heard it with the detail and power of this release. It always struck me as a peculiarly visual album, and it has never looked so good. The 180-gm disc seems virtually indestructible, but if this really is a limited edition I'll probably pick up another copy for my old age.

Horrible Sound

This reissue has awful sound - muddled, dull, and compressed. It's hard to imagine this album sounding worse than this new reissue. This music deserved much better treatment.
