This is where it all started…the legendary independent jazz label Three Blind Mice was established in 1970, with a clear mission of introducing true talents without consideration for commercialism. And, as the catalog number TBM-1 suggests, Mine (pronounced as "Mee-Nay") was its premier release. It was also the debut album by Kosuke Mine, a young, up-and-coming alto saxophonist who was just beginning to get the attention of jazz listeners. His quintet consists of young musicians who are all technically outstanding and shared Mine's progressive and challenging, but always swinging style.
