I have to absolutely agree with the people above who were disappointed buy this release. I too have the orig pressing, and this re-master sounds like total garbage. Imagine taking a track from the CD and making the worst quality MP3 of it, then listening to through an AM radio. Sounds like an old worn out LP. Worst $40 i ever spent. #totalfail_fml.

As an owner of the previous two 45 rpm releases (Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning both much better in terms of sound) I have to give this release a thumbs down. I have an original '86 release of this album that sounds so much better than this one. The highs/mids/bass on this release are so separated that i thought my rig was on the fritz. Turns out it's not.

45rpm The best pressing yet.

Sure it sounds loud and the drums are pronounced, but it also sounds like it's under a tarp. This is a disapointment given this is my second favorite from the band. Mastered at Mobile Fidelity? Really? Is this a project they did on their off hours when they were so tired that they did not bother to keep to their normal outstanding standards?! I also have Kill Em' All @ 45 rpm. It's a bit better but still muddled. Originally I gave this the benefit of the doubt thinking it was a limitation of the master tapes, but the DCC cds that Steve Hoffman did were incredible! Oh well..........
