One of the best albums of the last 30 years

This is one of my all-time favorite albums. This pressing leaves much to be desired, however. If you can find it, the box set by the same name comes on 45 rpm vinyl and includes 2 CD's, the second is B-sides (which are fantastic).

This pressing sounds dull, faded, and does no justice whatsoever to Thom Yorke's great vocals. And its definitely not my system- the 45 version is one of the best sounding records I own...

So- music gets a 10+ on a 5 scale. The quality of this pressing gets a 1- I'd give it less, but it wont let me. Die-hard Radiohead fans will be disappointed...

Great recording

My daughters are all into Radiohead, so I thought I'm buy this album to see what all the fuss is about. Wow, this is great music. It stands up to lots of classic stuff. Why isn't this group HUGE?

My pressing is "audiophile" quality, with quiet surfaces and crystal clear sounds and an open, dynamic sound. Dynamics aren't huge here, but they're natural for the music. Highly recommended to anyone that likes music.

Radiohead's latest effort is very very good; you can read all the reviews on the web. The vinyl is nice and quiet and sounds great. A must for any Radiohead fan, but the nod goes to The Bends for their most accessible work, and to OK Computer for most groundbreaking commerical success.

Wonderful on Vinyl

This is a great album for vinyl. If you like the music (which I do) this is a great way to own it - seemingly the opposite of the infamous download. My copy is a flat, quiet, dynamic pressing - highly recommended.

Digital Download meant for vinyl

After listening to the mp3 version of this rock masterpiece I realized that it was truly a "rock record," at heart. 10 songs, 5 to a side...it harkens back to classic rock album by The Who and Led Zeppelin, but geared toward a 21st century audience. Don't buy the CD, try to find the mp3s for a sample, but BUY THE RECORD!
