I mean it. A certain desert island disc for me. Despite Chris Hillman and others reminding us how poorly this album was recorded, this vinyl LP is the best-mastered version there is. Moreover, the songwriting on it is of the best in Rock history; the music of this band was seminal in so many ways; and it formed, reformed, and informed ideas about music for decades to come.

In addition, it has one of the greatest covers of all time.
