Arguably the first supergroup, Cream with Disraeli Gears in 1967, achieved massive worldwide success and ensured their place in rock's hall of fame. Disraeli Gears has long been regarded as a classic, transforming Cream from visionary blues-based revivalists to psychedelic pop/rock heroes, and was a pivotal moment in the development of heavy rock.

Disraeli Gears

I have several Universal Japan LPs, and they're all amazing. Most are analog-sourced (if I'm to believe my Japanese-English bilingual friend), with the exception of a few that can be identified by "DSD" on the lower part of the obi. Even the digital-sourced LPs sound superb at 24/96. This LP is analog- sourced and is simply perfect.

Listen to "Tales of Brave Ulysess" on this pressing if you want to hear what a perfectly recorded rock song should sound like.

Fantastic. If you love this record, this reissue is as good as it gets. I have various pressings of this album and this reissue beats them all. It's expensive, but just buy it and don't look back. Highly recommended!
