Very simply, the best outer record sleeve we've ever come across. Ultimate protection and aesthetics in one package. These sleeves use a hybrid 2.5 mil polypro/polyester film. Rather than viewing your records through a cloudy sleeve, you'll instead see them perfectly crystal clear. And each sleeve is die-cut to exactly 12.75 x 12.75 inches. These sleeves are much more rigid and tight-fitting than standard outer sleeves. Again, if you want the absolute best and best-looking outer sleeve, look no further.

When I found these here, I tried a pack of each of the 2.5 mil and the 5.0 mil Sleeves- based upon reviews here! Compared to what I currently use, which are thick, heavy pvc ones bought in the UK- which are so thick, with razor sharp edges that can cut- these 2.5 mil sleeves will reduce the wasted space in my shelves, whilst GREATLY improving the clarity and visibilty compared to the ones I now use. I was amazed by the quality of these thinner ones, with a CLARITY TO DIE FOR and STREGTH that belies its thinness. Accordingly I have just re-ordered 600 of them-PERFECT for my Fast-Growing LP Collection- including my laserdiscs (remember those??!!). Thank You ACOUSTIC SOUNDS for bringing this product to my Attention!! I will phase out and replace those horrid heavy pvc covers with poor clarity- and replace every one of my albums with these outer sleeves...THE FINEST I have ever seen at anytime in my former professional capacity(A/V Accessories-Bandridge LONDON)--or indeed today.MRL

I've never bought new sleeves before, and have instead relied upon secondhand ones. These ones are very clear, much clearer than any old one I've found so far. Yes, they are a bit thinner than old style sleeves, but I haven't seen any issue with them so far. Double albums fit just fine, haven't tried one double-with-tri-gatefold yet, however.

These are certainly replacing the sleeves I previously used (the Sound Sleeves, sold by AS for the same price as these). Their main attraction for me is how clear they are. My only concern is their durability. They seem a little more "brittle" than the sound sleeves - hopefully they hold up as well over time. Also, they are quite "slick", and I'm not sure yet whether that's a good thing or not. It's nice for getting covers in and out to look at them, but may be inconvenient if they slide out when not intended. As for size, they EASILY accomodate doubles - I would actually like them to be a little smaller.
