The Cayin Audio A-100T is a remote-controlled tube integrated amp featuring a robust 100 watts per channel in Ultralinear and 50 watts per channel in Triode. Using KT-88 tubes, this beautiful, monster integrated amp imitates the Marantz 7C preamp and Marantz 9 amplifier. Talk about a marriage! Throw in the remote control and the price tag, and it really doesn't get any better than this. Oh, but it does! The A-100T includes a unique Soft-Start circuit with a 30-second turn-on delay to extend the life of those gorgeous, glowing tubes. The top deck of the unit uses an integrated volt meter for easy bias adjustment of the output tubes.

Yes, this is a beautiful Integrated Amplifier. But one needs to be sure of the differences inherent in an tube amp. It renders sound quite strongly within the mid tone world. Some may not like this - missing the high end tones of symbols or even the low end rumbles for that matter. Of course IF you should choose one with tone controls - then there is not a problem yet I'm not sure if that even exists. Either way - I can only listen to Classical music with THIS amp. With my other music preferences - no way - as clearly 'music' is missing.

I could get very "wordy" about this product, but I will not do so. Instead, I will merely state that in my 54 years of using, and selling audio reproduction equipment, this is the singular most impressive piece of audio gear I have ever owned. Classical and jazz music lovers will particularly love this amplifier. If you have any doubts about what I say, take advantage of ACOUSTIC SOUNDS return policy. I was once told by an audio engineer that "tube electronics is for people who like to play with tubes". To that individual I say; "go play with your transistors". Thank GOD for tube electronics, and especially this amp. At it's price point it's a "stone bargain". If you are on a tight budget, it's "little brother" will also astonish you and you will also find that you don't need 100 "tube watts", for most systems. I hope many people buy and enjoy this product.
