The Beatles' final recording (though Let It Be was released later) is, of course, among the most famous albums of all time. Even as the group's swan song, the material is characteristically progressive and includes bona fide classics in almost every single one of its tracks.

1.   Come Together
2.   Something
3.   Maxwell's Silver Hammer
4.   Oh! Darling
5.   Octopus's Garden
6.   I Want You (She's So Heavy)
7.   Here Comes the Sun
8.   Because You Never Give Me Your Money
9.   Sun King
10.   Mean Mr. Mustard
11.   Polythene Pam
12.   She Came in Through the Bathroom Window
13.   Golden Slumbers
14.   Carry That Weight
15.   The End

Compared to jimi hendrix reissues, this is an ok average pressing. I enjoy listening this one every time.

Since I've been at Acoustic Sounds I've purchased many classic LPs in 180g vinyl. Maybe you could say I've become a bit spoiled by what is available (although I have quite the list for LPs that aren't here yet!).

This is, for me, their best LP, after Revolver. And the copy I received was in perfect condition. I have to say, I have an iPod and all that but having an excellent sound system and turntable I love to play LPs more.

Thank you, Acoustic Sounds !!!

Walking on Abbey Road

True Beatles fans from that era will agree that Abbey Road was a let down after the White Album of 1968. Rumors abound as to what the next magical LP would encompass. Remember? The guys walking across the street? I mean Paul barefoot was cool, yet the music inside was rehash for the most part. A few stood out; Here Comes the Sun and You Never Give Me Your Money were both original. You must have this album as a fan, but you want good Beatles? Try Rubber Soul and Revolver back-to-back!

Can't imagine anyone on this site who has not had a copy of Abbey Road? For me this is the best Beatles' album and should be in any collection even if you don't like pop/rock. This version sounds great, but I have not compared closely to any others. Who cares the music is amazing...maybe Classic will do a 200gram someday.
