One of Elvis Costello's personal favorites from his wildly diverse repertoire, 1986's King of America was remastered and expanded in 2005 as a Rhino two-CD Deluxe Edition with a full disc of rare and previously unreleased treasures. The vibrant, roots-flavored album was produced by Costello with T-Bone Burnett and Larry Hirsch and features a host of L.A.-based session aces and master players (including ex-Elvis Presley guitar legend James Burton). "Brilliant Mistake," the disc's stellar lead track, is featured on Side One of this sharp, limited-edition white vinyl seven-inch single. Side Two features one of the Deluxe Edition's bonus rarities, a live version of "True Love Ways," recorded in NYC's Broadway Theater in 1988. A must-have collectible for the Costello connoisseur.
