Blue Heaven Studios - Kenny Wayne Shepherd Concert Poster

In June 2003, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, along with the Double Trouble rhythm section of Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon, set out across America to jam with, interview and pay homage to the greatest blues legends still living. The last stop on the 10-day tour was Salina, Kansas for a concert at Acoustic Sounds' own Blue Heaven Studios. The show featured the surviving members of the Muddy Waters band and Howlin' Wolf band as well as special guests Wild Child Butler, Lazy Lester and Jimmy D. Lane. It was an unforgettable, historic concert. This is the concert poster from that very special event.

The result of Shepherd's tour is a release on the Reprise label called 10 Days Out…Blues From The Backroads. It is available as a DVD/CD package (CREP 49294), with footage from the Blue Heaven concert, and as an LP (AREP 49294).
