I've written reviews for some of the other surround releases, but I must tell you that this is one of my favorites!!! Someone really spent some time on this mix. It is one of the most engaging 5.1 mixes I have ever heard. There is great depth to this and the engineer has used the surround field in a most effective way. Get the feeling I'm an audio engineer as well? You're right!! This is the way a surround mix is supposed to sound. Buy this!!! You won't regret it.

Great Effort From an All-Time Great.

I really enjoy this album. When it originally came out on vinyl I thought it was a bit of a let down after his amazing playing on the Layla album, and his seminal work on the Cream, Blind Faith and Yardbirds albums. Clearly, this recording was to start a new chapter in his life. Being a guitar player, I really enjoy his tone and choice of amps. Who was to know that a reggae cover would actually bring a whole new sound to the world, albeit,second-hand. A great recording to listen to with friends or alone. 5 stars all the way!
