Andre Geraissati’s compositions and performances on acoustic guitar subvert the obvious. His tunings are sonically bold and disturbing, and sound from rough tribal acoustic instruments to eastern strings - and sometimes as a virtuoso acoustic guitar. His explorations with silence and harmonics are not only innovative, but allow new sonorities to the instrument, as well as deep dives for the attentive listener. There will always be something new to be explored in Andre Geraissati’s music. It is not tied to any kind of convention, fashion or trend. He moves along with the agility of the waters running to the sea, something nothing can prevent from flowing. Sometimes its movements are quiet and subtle, sometimes raging and chaotic.
