Fred Sokolow is one of a kind. Joined here by two uniquely talented musician/singers, Fred brings a fresh approach to tunes both old and new. Junior Brown, "the Jimi Hendrix" of country pickin', plays his "guit-steel" instrument and sings a duet with Fred. Ian Whitcomb, famous for his 60's novelty tune "You Turn Me On", adds his ukelele, voice and accordian to a couple of numbers. As is typical with AIX Records releases, there's video of the sessions, a commentary introduction and a complete guitar lesson included on the DVD-Video side of this two-sided disc.
