Album of faith-based songs from Lady Antebellum's Grammy-winner

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott candidly shared an open letter to fans via social media recently, introducing her
latest faith-based musical endeavor and describing the story behind her sonically stunning first single "Thy Will"
from the forthcoming album Love Remains by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family.

The collection of 13 songs features Hillary's mom Linda Davis, father Lang Scott and little sister Rylee Scott, all produced by Ricky Skaggs.

"Why a faith-based album? Well, I wanted to make this album to share more of who I am. These songs and many like them are the cry of my heart. I have been singing songs like this my whole life, whether it be in church, with family and friends father around with guitars on my screened-in porch, rocking my baby girl to sleep or while holding the hand of a dying loved one," Scott wrote.

"This is about a really recent thing that I went through," the Lady Antebellum member explained to The Boot and other reporters of the song's powerful message. "I think there's times in our life when we ask, ‘Why is this happening? Why did that have to happen to someone else?' For me, because I grew up with faith being such a huge part of my life, I've always known and prayed and trusted that, no matter what, I know that there's someone looking out for me, who can save me, who hears me, in the darkest and brightest moments in life."

Scott, as part of the Grammy-Award winning trio Lady Antebellum, has sold more than 11 million albums worldwide. The band has earned six platinum singles and dubbed ACM and CMA "Vocal Group of the Year" three years in a row. In addition to co-writing six chart-topping Lady A hits including the 6x platinum hit "Need You Now," Scott has also written for artists such as Blake Shelton and Sara Evan's No. one hit, "A Little Bit Stronger."
