Produced by Promise of the Real and Stevie Chadie, Something Real was recorded at William Westerfeld Mansion in San Francisco. Featuring Nelson and his brother Micah Nelson on vocals and guitar, drummer Anthony LoGerfom, bassist Corey McCormick and percussionist Tato Melgar, the album includes a cover of Scott McKenzie’s “San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)” with Young on vocals.

“I love all the bands I have played with, but this band and the multi-generational thing is epic,” said Young.
