As long as this is the pressing mastered by Chris Bellman, Bernie Grundman, (I cant speak for any other pressing) this was mastered all analogue from the original master tapes.. and you can tell. Sounds so warm and inviting. Music is INSANE. For the price cant beat it. Very quiet vinyl with excellent sound quality.

Recording sounds very good on vinyl - despite very dense music - challenging for any system.... GREAT guitar solo on Inca Roads. Every song is high quality. Also for Frank, its G rated. Po-Jama People a definite highlight. Nice pressing, and album artwork totally cool. Gotta like the two Sofa songs as well...Peak Zappa!

Like alll the other Zappa (reissue) reviews I have posted here, this album breathes new sonic life into this 40-plus year-old recording: all while retaining its wonderful original sound, mix, and feel (this does NOT sound digital or "tweezed" in any way)...indeed, fans will experience the thrill they first encountered were they so fortunate as to have purchased the old Discreet release in '74... with improved seperation, dynamic range, clarity, extension in the low-end, and soundstage depth & width. In short, if you're a died-in-the-wool Zappaphile, this will be essential! Highly recommended to anyone who loves music, and especially to those who think (as I do) that Zappa hit a personal "high note" with "One Size Fitas All". And here, on German-pressed vinyl, the results are stunning ! A true "demo-disc" from the '70s! Highly recommended! on every front!
