Remastered at Abbey Road Studios

200-gram Hologram Edition w/ special Hologram etching

Direct to Metal mastering, pressed at Quality Record Pressings!

Limited time album download included; 320k vinyl-ripped AAC MP4s

Rush's 2112 has been newly-remastered at legendary Abbey Road Studios using the Direct to Metal Mastering (DMM) audiophile copper plating process, all from original analogue masters. Then pressed to 200-gram dead quiet vinyl at Quality Record Pressings!

This special edition vinyl projects a hologram of the iconic album art when played.

Rush's fourth album, 2112, first released in 1976, proved a breakthrough, highlighted by its seven-part title suite — written by Lee and Lifeson, with lyrics by Peart — recounting a dystopian story set in the year 2112. It came in at No. 2 on Rolling Stone's list of "Your Favorite Prog Rock Albums of All Time." Most Rush fans consider it the band's definitive recording and it has sold more than 3 million albums in the U.S., going triple-platinum.

This is an outstanding remaster and pressing of this classic.I spent a number of years buying and collecting original pressings of this album to obtain my own Hot Stamper, but this new one beats mine in all respects and is dead quiet as well.I'm not going to use any of the overused audiophile terms, the sound will simply fly out of your speakers and you will get a sense of the recording space like you have never heard before.Thank You for this.
