Dear Fantasy 45 Series subscriber,
By the end of the month, you'll have received 25 absolutely killer
titles, all numbered-edition, all cut at 45-RPM from the original
master tapes, all pressed on 180-gram vinyl, and all released within
a year. What a series! Several of you have assured us that these 45s,
mastered by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman at AcousTech and pressed
at Record Technology, Inc., hold treasured spots in your collection.
Many of you have asked us if we'd continue these releases after the
25th title.
GOOD NEWS: We've decided to extend the Fantasy 45 Series to eventually
include 100 titles. We'll continue to release these 45s in increments
of 25 at two titles per month.
And because you were country before country was cool; because you
supported this series before all the critics and fellow audiophiles
started screaming about it, you deserve the first right of refusal
for your cherished number. Remember, there are only 250 of you who
have the same numbered-edition of each title. So, if you want to stay
on the list and purchase the next 25 titles, email
us. If we don't hear from you by the end of January 2004, we'll
turn your number over to one of the people on our waiting list.
Also, let us offer this guarantee: The hundredth title in this series
will be every bit as strong as the first. There are just so many bona
fide classics with mind-blowing sound in the Fantasy tape vaults.
Even to narrow it down to a Top 100 is a significant challenge.
By emailing us
and saying that you want to keep your number, you are committing to
the next 25 titles, to be released at two per month throughout 2004.
This does not commit you to the 50 series titles that will remain
at the end of 2004.
